So it’s turning into fall weather, which is very exciting, I like layers and long pants. So here’re some great shots from the Scott Schuman, the Sartorialist. Always lovely…
I love the mix of patterns and the muted colors. The jacket is great and ever since I saw Coco avant Chanel I’ve been dying for a great striped Breton shirt.
Great shoes, for starters. All sorts of great colors, and the wonderful cuffed pants.
A man, but great layers and colors…
Wonderful! I’m really enjoying blazers and jackets of all sorts, and apparently black pants. I’ve been on the hunt for a great pair of slim black slacks. The fur looks so cozy too…
Again, great jacket, I love the different shapes and colors and tones and patterns… the short jacket with long sleeves and the longer cardigan. The layering of the buttoned shirt under the cardigan could look stuffy, but it doesn’t at all.
I love both of them, with their belted waists and their jackets/cardigans and scarves. I wouldn’t want to dress like my boyfriend, but I think they both are fantastically dressed.
So this Sunday was daylight savings time in Paris. No one told me and I got caught off guard, but oh well, there are worse things, at least I wasn’t an hour late for anything.
Not what I meant to post about though.
What daylight savings (and the dawning of April) means is that, theoretically at least, Spring is right around the corner. Fashion magazines start talking about spring while it’s still cold out, but I can’t think about it until it’s actually warm enough to wear the clothes. Plus I don’t usually get as excited about spring and summer because 1) there’s a lot more skin 2) it’s soooo hot that I want to wear clothes that are as light as possible, it’s too hard to focus on fashion and 3) the best summer strategy seems to be amazing dresses. But anyway, here are some things I like for spring (Whenever it intends to start).
I’m a bad blogger, I’ve been saving images on my computer for so long that I don’t necessarily know where they all came from, I’ll mark the ones I do know…
A lovely Chictopia user, unfortunately I didn’t save which one…^

Those are my thoughts. We’ll see what happens.
So, Fashion month is finally over (or at least the major shows are).
In the end, I’ve gathered 167 pictures from the shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
I have to go through all those images and sort them and paste them together in order to present them, but generally I’m looking forward to fall. Not that I can afford anything I saw on the runway.
In the meantime, some nice images from the Sartorialist:
